The field at the Taiwan Swinging Skirts LPGA is comprised of 81 players, 62 qualified via the LPGA Tour's money list while 10 players are from the Taiwan LPGA . There are also 9 sponsor invites

Nelly Korda claimed her first LPGA win here last year and afterwards went on to say, "It's definitely one of the best days of my entire life, I can finally check that off of my list, winning an LPGA event, something that I dreamed of ever since I started playing." She definitely built on that victory and a win at the end of the season can always inspire confidence into 2020.

World number 1 Jin Young Ko is coming into this event having just won the 2019 Rolex Player of the Year award. She is making her second start in Taiwan. Ko recorded her seventh consecutive top-20 finish last week and again will head into this event as the favorite. Below we look at 4 players who could be lifting the trophy come Sunday.

Hinako Shibuno (Japan)

This should be very interesting viewing. Hinako, won the British Open back in August in spectacular fashion and won the hearts of the world with her infectious smile. The win enabled her to play on the LPGA next year, a decision she still has not made. She has until November 18 to tell the LPGA her plans.

It will be thrilling to see how the 21 year old performs in her first LPGA event since winning the ope testing her self against the worlds best. Back in japan she has performed well and is currently leading on the order of merit with 3 wins and 13 top 10 finishes. In her last 3 events she has finished 7th, 6th and 12th last week.

She leads the Japan LPGA this year for birdies per round with 3.9

Nanna koerstz Madsen (Denmark)

Nanna has had 2 top 10 finishes this season on the LPGA along with 2 on the LET. Her recent form has been good finishing 2nd, 16th, 12th and 6th last week in Korea.

In her rookie season on the LPGA. She didn’t make any top 10s and this year has seen a real improvement in her game especially recently.

She started the year ranked 246th in the world and Is now up to 70th . Currently 37th on the race to the globe. 5th this year for putts per GIR with 1.75, capable of a very low round and could go well here this week.

Sei Young Kim (South Korea)

Kim, is on a good run of form at the moment only finishing outside the top 10 once in her last 5 starts. She finished 9th last week on home turf, and will look to build on that this week.

She has had 2 wins this year winning the Marathon Classic in July and the Mediheal Championship in May, on top of that she has had 8 top 10 finishes.

Kim, was 26th here last year and 17th 2017

Kim, is currently 13th in the world and 7th in the race to the globe. She is 5th for birdies made in 2019 with 347.

Carlota Ciganda (Spain)

Carlota, has 8 top 10s this year and has been unlucky not to be in the winners circle

Her form has dropped off slightly in recent weeks on the LPGA not finishing in the top 25 in her last 3 events. However, she did win back in her native Spain on the LET a few weeks ago.

Her form in this event is very good finishing 4th here last year and 3rd in 2017.

Carlota, is 14th in the world and currently 15th in the race to the globe. She is 2nd this year for eagles made with 19.
