4 players to watch at this weeks Evian Championship

As we head into major week, we look at 4 players who could be the one lifting the trophy come Sunday.

Nelly Korda (USA) 9/1

Nelly won the last major, the PGA Championship at the end of June to claim her maiden major. It has been quite the

season so far for Nelly who has won 3 times from her 11 events played.

The only thing going against her is her record at this event, finishing 25th in 2019,

61st in 2018 and missing the cut in 2017. However, Nelly is a different player from a couple of years ago and is now the one to beat on the LPGA climbing to world number 1!

Lydia Ko (New Zealand) 28/1

Lydia has a good record at the Evian Championship, she finished 10th in 2018 3rd in 2017 and won the event in 2015.

Lydia looks back to her best now with a win and two runner up spots so far this season and back inside the worlds top 10! after being outside the top 50 last year.

Atthaya Thitikul (Thailand) 40/1

Atthaya is playing her first ful season on the LET after mainly focusing her golf in Asia. Still only 18 her accomplishments are very impressive to date.

This season she leads the LET order of merit, she won in the Czech Republic and lost in a playoff 2 weeks ago in England. She has only finished outside the top 6 in one event!

This course should suit her game which it did back in June with 2 rounds of 69 At the Jabra Ladies Open. Even though this her debut in the event, nothing seems to phase this teenager.

Stephanie Kyriacou (Aus) 80/1

Stephanie is another young star of the LET, she finished 3rd last year on the order of merit and sits 3rd this year also. This season in her 6 starts on the LET she has had a win at the Big Green Egg Open and 3 top 10s.

She had major experience last year at the women’s British Open and she fired a final round 68 on this course back in June. Definitely a player to watch out for This weekend and in the future.
