Why all eyes should be on Stoke Nayland this week!

Today sees the start of the LET tour event at Stoke Nayland. The LET access tour enables the top 5 in the order of merit at the end of the season to join the full European Tour next season. Currently England's Meghan Maclaren leads the way. There is a £35,000 Euro prize fund on offer as well as the order of merit points.
5 important reasons to watch!
1. Entry is free and as the European Tour does not have a tournament this week there will be a chance to see a very high standard of golf. A number of those in the top 100 of the Ladies European Tour order of merit are making an appearance.
2. This is the penultimate event of the season so the stakes are high to get in the top 5!. Positions 6-20 automatically qualify for tour qualifying tournament as well skipping the need to qualify.
3. England's Meghan Maclaren tops the Order of Merit but there are 3 other Brits fighting for a top 5 position so home support would be greatly appreciated. Charlotte Thompson of England is currently 3rd, Emma Goodard (ENG) 6th and winner of last months event Jane Turner (SCO) in 12th.

4. As well as the pros there will be plenty of quality amateurs on show. Needing a handicap of 2 or under means that some amateur will get a chance to mix it with the pros. maybe discovering the next future star!
5. Ladies golf is on the up! Lets get behind it. These girls can mix it with the boys!
More needs to be done to promote these tournaments that will help develop the stars of the future.
